CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: District/Account Sales Manager
FANUC America Corporation provides the most complete range of industry-leading robotics, CNC and motion control systems, and ROBODRILL machining centers. Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. We are currently searching for a dynamic, self-starter District/Account Manager to drive our Robotics Sales covering the Eastern Iowa, Western Illinois, SW Wisconsin and NE Missouri markets. Primary responsibilities will include:
Direct sales to end users and managing FANUC America distribution partners in the territory in all applications areas for stand alone units and systems business
Strong presentations skills utilizing Power Point, with the ability to sell to top down through client organizations.
Manage all activities within specified accounts including all direct selling efforts to plants and engineering offices to meet or exceed yearly established targets in units, revenue, and gross profit.
Develop and implement strategic selling plans for accounts. Identify complex sales situations, and manage and direct company resources to "win" the business.
Manage FANUC America integrator/distributor network throughout E Iowa, W Illinois, SW Wisconsin and NE Missouri. Expand this network to increase sales to end users.
Develop good relationships with key personnel at all levels of plant, engineering and management within accounts and establish FAC as a sustaining resource.
Initiate and establish direction and content of quotations by providing complete scope of work from customer. Provide pricing direction, and review quotation prior to submittal. Review proposals with customer for a clear and thorough understanding of the FAC content and competitive advantages, and negotiate to a successful sale maximizing FAC profitability.
Interface with FAC resources and customer on sold projects to assure complete understanding of deliverable. Participate in kickoff and status meetings to assure smooth project execution and complete customer satisfaction.
Solicit input and feedback from customers on product operation and new requirements to provide direction on product improvements and new products to increase FAC's competitive advantages and market share.
Manage company assets through accurate monthly forecast, and support in the collection of overdue payments.
Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business related field, or equivalent relevant experience
A minimum of 3 years selling or customer interface experience, preferably in capital equipment environment.
Technical competency in automation applications from actual plant experience or formal education.
Working knowledge of robots and robotic applications
Knowledge and established contacts within specified customer base
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
Excellent management skills to handle small to large accounts and to organize and plan for many simultaneous and complex issues

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
